The matchup between St. Charles North and St. Charles East on Monday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. The North Stars came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fighting Saints, sneaking past 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the North Stars have posted since April 4th.

St. Charles North has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games.
