Calvary Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jude Wedel out in front who scored 16 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wedel has scored all season. Sean Sensenig (HS) was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Calvary Christian Academy's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-17. As for Holly Grove Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian Academy will take on Faith Baptist School at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Faith Baptist School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven last Monday. As for Holly Grove Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sussex Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Sussex Academypresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Holly Grove Christian in their respective states (Sussex Academy is ranked 61st in Delaware, while Holly Grove Christian is ranked 313th in Maryland).
