Lakewood has struggled against Lynden recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Lakewood had strong showings from Daniel Amevo, who picked up 59 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Evan Stacey, who threw for 237 yards and two touchdowns.
Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lynden, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-1.
