It was a good run, but the Fletcher Senators unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 57-15 loss at the hands of Ribault. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fletcher has scored all season.
Brylee Rains was Fletcher's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Ribault's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nyeemah Dixon led the charge by scoring seven points along with seven rebounds. Jacoreyn Andrews was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Fletcher's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Ribault, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Fletcher will take on Westside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ribault, they will head out on the road to square off against Paxon School For Advanced Studies at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Paxon School For Advanced Studies is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.5 points per game.
