The Piney Woods Tornadoes came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 61-32 victory over Stringer. Piney Woods pushed the score to 47-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Red Devils had little chance of recovering from.
Piney Woods got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeovani Kazadi out in front who scored 18 points. Kidade Strode was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Piney Woods pushed their record up to 10-5 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Stringer, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.
