Basha hasn't had much luck against Perry recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pumas at 11:00 a.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Basha is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since April 8, 2024 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Chandler 4-3. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

David Richter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Parker Anderson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Trevion Jones was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.
Meanwhile, Perry faced Casteel in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Pumas had just enough and edged out the Colts 3-2.
Perry also got a great performance from Dillon Mendoza as he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.
At the plate, Max DeFrancesco and Andrew Hover did most of the damage at the plate: DeFrancesco went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Hover went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Perry's victory bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Basha, their win bumped their record up to 10-13-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. Basha hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Perry struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
