Wimberley got a good showing from Jackson Parker, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Parker has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Bryson Anderson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Jaden Hall was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
Wimberley's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 14-4-1. As for Navarro, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.
