Cypress Ranch is on a four-game streak of home losses, the Eagles a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Cypress Ranch Mustangs will take on the Cypress Falls Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
On Friday, Cypress Ranch came up short against the Lobos and fell 54-46. While losing is never fun, Cypress Ranch can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while the Lobos are ranked 44th).
Meanwhile, after only 22 points in their last contest, Cypress Falls made sure to put some points up on the board against the Tigers on Friday. Cypress Falls took their game at home with ease, bagging a 70-42 win over the Tigers.
Cypress Ranch's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-14. As for Cypress Falls, the win got them back to even at 15-15.
Cypress Ranch took their win against the Eagles when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 54-28. Will Cypress Ranch repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
