Wayne County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Justice Bell, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. Logan Davis was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six assists.
Richland has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Wayne County, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Richland's road trip will continue as they head out to face Santa Fe at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Wayne County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Summertown at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. One thing working in Summertown's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 18 contests.
