Miki Mizuno posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. He has become a key player for Ranchview: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 2-3 otherwise.
