The Blue Ridge Raiders will be playing at home against the Forest City Foresters at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Blue Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matches -- so hopefully Forest City likes a good challenge.
Blue Ridge can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Monday. Everything went their way against Elk Lake as Blue Ridge made off with a 58-33 victory. Given Blue Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while Elk Lake is ranked 572nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Forest City suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were beaten by Mid Valley 65-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Forest City has scored all season.
Blue Ridge pushed their record up to 9-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Forest City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.
Blue Ridge didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Forest City when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 63-57 win.
