The Hesperia Scorpions are taking a road trip to  take on the Eastside Lions  at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Things were looking good for Hesperia after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took  a  6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Glendora. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Hesperia got a good showing from  Silas Skinner, who   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 At the plate, Hesperia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Josh Flores, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI and two  doubles. That's the most  RBI  Flores has posted since back in March of 2024. Another  was  Dru Lona, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Eastside scored the most  runs they've had  this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They took  an  8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Barstow.
  Brandon Boyd made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. That  run was  his first of the season.
 Hesperia's record is now 2-2. As for Eastside, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the  loss, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season.
