There's no place like home for the Keenan Raiders, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Lancaster 72-21 at home. With that win, Keenan brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Keenan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taelor Lee-sutton, who scored 19 points along with 9 assists and 8 steals. Lee-sutton is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kristin Brown, who scored 17 points along with 6 steals.
When it comes to explaining why Lancaster lost, one person who can't be blamed is Eliza Baskins. Despite the final result, she scored 10 points along with 3 steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Lancaster struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Keenan pulled down 13.
The victory got Keenan back to even at 2-2. As for Lancaster, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Keenan will take on Ridge View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Ridge View is ranked 78th, while Keenan is ranked 70th). As for Lancaster, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Fort Mill at 6:15 p.m.
