Baseball Recap: Sylvan Hills Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Sylvan Hills lost to Lake Hamilton back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Bears skirted past the Wolves 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Sylvan Hills pushed their record up to 14-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Hamilton, they moved to 17-3 with that defeat, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Sylvan Hills and Lake Hamilton will both be playing Benton the next time they take the field. The Wolves will host the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bears will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
