The Northfield Nighthawks waltzed into their matchup  on Friday with six straight wins  but they left with seven. They strolled past Skyview with  points to spare, taking the game  77-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
  Aliyah Herron continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a triple-double on 15 points, ten  rebounds, and ten  assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nashara Ellerbee, who  scored 17 points along with two  blocks.
 Northfield's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Skyview, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northfield will take on Denver West at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Skyview, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Gateway at 7:00  p.m.
