Clarksville Academy never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past Goodpasture Christian 14-0. Considering Clarksville Academy has won five games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Goodpasture Christian's batters probably weren't too happy with Evan Leonard, who pitched a no hitter and racked up seven Ks (he gave up zero walks). Leonard has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Floyd Dodwell, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Tristan Cobbler also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Dodwell wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Clarksville Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Clarksville Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Goodpasture Christian, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarksville Academy will face off against Lincoln County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Goodpasture Christian, they will take on Hendersonville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
