After flying high against Portage Christian on Friday, the Mooseheart Red Ramblers came back down to earth. Mooseheart lost to Harvest Christian Academy on the road by a decisive 68-50 margin on Tuesday. Mooseheart has not had much luck with Harvest Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Mooseheart's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tolu Erinolu, who scored 15 points. The game was Erinolu's third in a row with at least ten points. Bryan Lombo was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Mooseheart now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Harvest Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Mooseheart will be playing at home against Schaumburg Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harvest Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against South Beloit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Beloit presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Harvest Christian Academy in Illinois (South Beloit is ranked 165th, while Harvest Christian Academy is ranked 397th).
