North Forsyth moved up to 91 from 145 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AAAAAA Region 6. The Raiders climbed the ranks as a result of topping Cherokee 34-27.
Centennial lost to Milton 56-10 last week, the largest margin of any game.
HAMPTON MCCONNELL and HAMPTON MCCONNELL gave West Forsyth a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. MCCONNELL threw for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns, while MCCONNELL ran for 110 yards. TREVOR O'BRIEN also contributed to the rushing game with 107 yards on the ground.

MCCONNELL was the most successful running back in the league this week.
Leading AAAAAA Region 6 in both passing and receiving yards, the Knights' Matthew Harries and Christian Robinson have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-1 quarterback Harries has thrown for 585 yards this season, while Robinson has 11 catches for 228 yards. Frank Hepler's team's MCCONNELL leads the league in rushing yards with 273.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Chattahoochee takes on North Forsyth. The Cougars are in fourth place, while Jason Galt's team is in second place.
The Raiders made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,415 from 3,614. The improvement came about via a 34-27 victory over the Warriors last week.
