The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cotulla in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.
Crystal City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season. As for Cotulla, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Crystal City against the Cowboys when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 100-57 win. With Crystal City ahead 52-23 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
