They were the clear victor by a  67-44 margin over Central. That 23 point margin sets a new team best for Abraham Lincoln this season.
 Abraham Lincoln had a senior duo take command as  Samair Peterson  scored 24 points and  Aldonis Martin  scored 23 points. Peterson has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last three times he's  played.
 Despite the  defeat, Central saw an underclassman step up:  Yamir Knight-parker  scored 15 points. Knight-parker has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Malachi Brown, who  scored eight points along with nine  rebounds and five  assists.
 Abraham Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Central, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost nine of their last ten games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abraham Lincoln will take on the Braves at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. John Bartram is coming into the  contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Central, they will look to defend their home court  on Monday against the Bulldogs at 4:30  p.m. Simon Gratz has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 525 points over their last eight contests.
