Goldsberry continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 148 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2023. Another player making a difference was Hunter Meredith, who gained 102 total yards and a touchdown.
Gibson Southern's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Heritage Hills, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-1.
