Kress moved up to 67 from 98 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 2 (6 Man). The Kangaroos were able to make the jump by topping Hedley 58-12.
Petersburg extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Spur, 58-54. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Buffaloes.
Paducah's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Dragons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cody Austin has thrown for 323 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Austin Parton has 13 catches for 433 yards. Oscar Mathis leads the league in rushing with 509 yards.
The marquee game in 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 2 (6 Man) this week will be the clash between Valley and Petersburg. The Patriots enters the game ranked fourth in the state, while Joseph O'Malley's team ranks seventh.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Valley takes on the Buffaloes. Bret Tyler's team has allowed 194 points this season, while Petersburg has given up 186.
The Patriots took down Paducah 66-18 last week, the largest margin of any game.
