Despite the loss, Roanoke Catholic saw an underclassman step up: Jayden Johnson scored 17 points. Avery Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Roanoke Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season. As for Northside, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.
