The Stover Bulldogs can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Crest Ridge 54-19 at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Stover also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Ashlyn Pinzke, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Stover's points. Another player making a difference was Hannah Bauer, who scored six points along with six assists and two steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Crest Ridge struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They are 1-3 when they just don't pass the ball.
Stover has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Crest Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-15.
Stover will look to defend their home court on Friday against La Monte at 5:30 p.m. Hopefully Stover focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Wednesday. As for Crest Ridge, they will head out on the road to challenge Knob Noster at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Knob Noster is coming into the game with five straight wins at home, so Crest Ridge is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
