Tyner confirmed his decision on Twitter.
The 6-foot, 207-pound junior from
Aloha (Beaverton, Ore.) was in Eugene visiting Oregon for its game against USC.
Though he's been hampered by injuries as a junior, Tyner has already proven to be one of the top running backs on the West Coast for the class of 2013.
As a sophomore, he earned
MaxPreps Sophomore All-American honors after rushing for 1,821 yards and 19 scores.
Also an elite sprinter, Tyner has been clocked in the 10.40-range in the 100-meter dash. He is the second top running back to give a pledge to Oregon this week.
On Wednesday, class of 2012 running back
Byron Marshall also committed to Oregon.
