Basketball Recap: Pamlico Christian Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Zac Salen and Max Cruz

After flying high against Bethel Christian Academy last Tuesday, Pamlico Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Mariners fell 50-42 to the Eastern Christian HomeSchool Trailblazers on Thursday. If the Mariners were looking for revenge after losing 72-68 to the Trailblazers when the teams met back in January of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cruz has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Noah Haywood was another key player, putting up eight points.

Pamlico Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Eastern Christian HomeSchool, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-7 record.
