Ayersville played a tough  game  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt  a  52-18 defeat at the hands of the Patrick Henry Patriots. The Pilots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  45-6.
 Allison Eldridge was Ayersville's leading scorer, having posted six  points.    Avery Knueven took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
 Leading Patrick Henry to victory were  Carys Crossland and  Ada Christman.  Crossland  went 8 for 15 on her way to 19  points and five  rebounds, while  Christman  posted nine points in addition to seven  assists and seven  boards. Crossland's evening made it five games in a row in which  she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kasey Nelson, who  had eight  points and four  steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Ayersville and  nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Patrick Henry, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
 Ayersville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  44-29  loss against Archbold on the 9th. As for Patrick Henry, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  49-43  victory against McComb on the 10th.
