Darlington entered their tilt with Rockmart on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Rockmart Yellowjackets, posting an 86-27 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 25 points or more this season.

Darlington's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Rockmart, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Darlington will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Groves at 3:00 p.m. on December 30th. Darlington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Groves likes a good challenge. As for Rockmart, they and Model will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Model will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Rockmart surely won't give up without a fight.
