The San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines were the 67-44 winner over the Napa Christian Knights when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. San Francisco Waldorf fell 73-61 to Napa Christian on Tuesday. San Francisco Waldorf has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
San Francisco Waldorf's loss came despite strong showings from Cyrus Chambers and Ben Sarig. Chambers scored 23 points, while Sarig scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sarig has scored all season. Elango Ketheesan was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
It was another big night for Breydan Worth, who shot 7-for-9 from long range and dropped a double-double on 32 points and 12 assists for Napa Christian. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Worth has scored at least a third of Napa Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Obinna (Obi) Ekezie, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.

San Francisco Waldorf on the road again on Thursday and play against Jewish Community at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. Jewish Community is on a four-game streak of home losses, San Francisco Waldorf a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Napa Christian will take on Rio Lindo Adventist at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Rio Lindo Adventist focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 back in December of 2023.
