Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. Their  rough  14-3 loss to the Midland Christian Mustangs  might stick with them for a while. Trinity Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Midland Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in March of 2023.
 For Midland Christian's part,  Emeri Ream made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   four  hits. Ream has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Ream was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Annie Munoz was  incredible,  scoring two  runs while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Macy Wilson, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Midland Christian, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lubbock Christian at 5:00  p.m.  on April 2nd. As for Midland Christian, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome Southwest Christian School at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Midland Christian's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last three games.
