Novi came out on top against Plymouth Christian Academy on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Wildcats walked away with an 8-3 win over the Eagles. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Novi's win bumped their record up to 23-12. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 14 games and leaves them with a 26-8 record.

Looking ahead, Novi will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Allen Park at 11:00 a.m. The Jaguars will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Plymouth Christian Academy, they will head out to face off against Greenhills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gryphons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
