Mount Sinai can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Kings Park Kingsmen. The Mustangs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Shawn Flannery spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, Pj Tubianosa was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Ralph Passantino was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.

Mount Sinai's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Kings Park, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Mount Sinai will square off against Rocky Point at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kings Park, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Shoreham-Wading River at 5:15 p.m. on the 29th.
