The Golden Gate Titans are taking a road trip to square off against the Island Coast Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Golden Gate has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Marlon Cancio made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Rodriguez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI.
Cancio wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Golden Gate kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. This was only their first loss (out of three games) when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Island Coast didn't have quite enough to beat Charlotte on Tuesday and fell 3-2.
Island Coast saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Archer Ellis, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Golden Gate's record is now 3-8. As for Island Coast, their record is now 10-3.
