Three Rivers recap September 24, 2013
Lima Senior scaled the state rankings by moving to 225 from 305 this week, the biggest jump in Three Rivers. The Spartans climbed the ranks as a result of besting Ross 13-12.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Central Catholic beat Whitmer 21-14,. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Fighting Irish.
Lima Senior's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Spartans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Justice Graham has thrown for 873 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Ruben Flowers has 23 catches for 229 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Central Catholic takes on the Little Giants. As it stands, Greg Dempsey's team is in first, while Ross is in third.
Lima Senior and Derek Kidwell's team played the most contested game in Three Rivers this week, with Lima Senior eventually emerging with a 13-12 victory. Graham threw for 154 yards in the win.
