Brock True Dazzles in Fowler Win
Starting off the list is Fowler's Brock True, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. True rushed for 170 yards and five touchdowns, and also threw for 108 yards on seven of 17 attempts.
This year, True has averaged 110.4 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.63 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 91.63 rushing yards.

Sandoval Made His Presence Known in Hoehne's 50-0 Win

Custer County's probably not too fond of Sandoval given he always seems to get the better of them. When Sandoval last faced the Bobcats back in October of 2023, he rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries.

Brody Silvey Turns in Season-Best Effort
Hoehne was led to victory by Brody Silvey, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Silvey picked up 143 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Hoehne: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 100 receiving yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
On the year, Silvey has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 64.3 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 10.43 receiving yards per game.

Giovanni Aldretti Turns in Another Game with at Least 103 Rushing Yards
Giovanni Aldretti's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his eighth-straight game with 103+ rushing yards. He rushed for 116 yards while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
If the past is any indication, Aldretti could be in store for another big game when he takes on Hoehne on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Aldretti saw the Farmers), he picked up 82 receiving yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 75 yards.
