Tiospa Zina had trouble two weeks ago, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. They have had some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next matchup, which is against Wolsey-Wessington at 7:00 PM on Friday. With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win.
If Tiospa Zina were riding high off their 58-0 takedown of Crazy Horse three weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Tiospa Zina lost to Sunshine Bible Academy by a decisive 6-22 margin.
Meanwhile, Wolsey-Wessington were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took the match and then some with a 63-0 victory last week over Iroquois. Followers of Wolsey-Wessington probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Wolsey-Wessington's win lifted them to 4-0 while Tiospa Zina's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Wolsey-Wessington can add another positive mark to their record or if Tiospa Zina can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Wolsey-Wessington's step.
