Lone Tree had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. Everything went their way against the New London Tigers as they made off with a 9-1 victory. Considering the Lions have won five matchups by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Lone Tree's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for New London, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
