The White River Hornets will head out on the road to  challenge  the Auburn Mountainview Lions  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
On Wednesday, White River was able to grind out a solid  victory over Kentlake, taking the game  3-1. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for White River.
Meanwhile, Auburn Mountainview entered their tilt with Decatur on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They never let the Golden Gators get on the board and left with  a   2-0  win. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Auburn Mountainview's considerable advantage  in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 37th, while Decatur are ranked 173rd).
 Benjamin Toscano and  Sergio Mercado scored both of Auburn Mountainview's goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.
 White River's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Auburn Mountainview, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
