After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chatham, Highland was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Ellenville Blue Devils as they made off with a 12-2 win. Considering the Huskies have won nine matches by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Highland pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Ellenville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Coming up, Highland will venture away from home to face off against Pine Plains at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Ellenville, they will square off against Dover at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
