Superior extended the longest winning streak in Western C (8 Man) this week by beating Broadview/Lavina, 66-24. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Bobcats.
Charlo took down Twin Bridges 68-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Michael Delaney threw for 121 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 113 yards during the win.
Zane Hafliger was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Vikings beat the Falcons. The 5-foot-9 freshman racked up 1 sack.
Delaney was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 113 yards on 13 carries as Charlo topped White Sulphur Springs. Tyler Delaney also contributed to the rushing game with 55 yards on the ground.
6-foot-3 quarterback Wyatt Zylawy of Superior is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,893. He has also thrown 33 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Bishop. The Victor star has 52 catches for 757 yards.
Entering into this week's contest against Wibaux, Zylawy is short just 107 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season.
Mike Krahn's team led the league in scoring this week by notching 68 points on Twin Bridges. Delaney in the win.
