Basketball Recap: Paul Public Charter International Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

KIPP College Prep came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against Paul Public Charter International, but Kamrin Milam wouldn't allow it. The Paul Public Charter International Pirates secured a 63-57 W over the KIPP College Prep Panthers on Wednesday thanks in part to Milam, who went 7 of 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 32 points. The game was his sixth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Quran Williams, who went 5 for 11 on his way to 17 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game.

Despite the loss, KIPP College Prep still got an impressive performance from Kaden Butler, who went 9 of 17 on his way to 21 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Elijah Butts, who posted 15 points.

Paul Public Charter International has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for KIPP College Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Paul Public Charter International will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Thurgood Marshall Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for KIPP College Prep, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-50 victory against DC International on the 20th.
