Ridge had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt West Morris Central on Friday. The Red Devil were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Wolfpack. The result was nothing new for the Red Devil, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Ridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for West Morris Central, they moved to 9-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridge will host Watchung Hills Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Red Devil 3.6, the Warriors 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
