While Cony's win against Nokomis wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams won by a goal and slipped past the Warriors 2-1. That's more bragging rights for Cony, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cony's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 2-2-1. As for Nokomis, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Cony will head out to challenge Skowhegan at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nokomis, they have already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Gardiner on the 17th.
