They pulled ahead with a 34-33 photo finish over Northland Prep Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Williams also won the last time the pair played on Thursday.
Williams got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kai Mortensen out in front who scored 16 points along with 3 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Mortensen has scored at least 25% of Williams' points. Another player making a difference was Liliana Vazquez , who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
Williams' win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Northland Prep Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
