There's no place like home for the Hempstead Bobcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 63-53 win over Hallettsville on Thursday.
Hempstead got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaleb Blackmon out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Floyd Ragston, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds.
Hempstead is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Hallettsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Hempstead will be playing at home against Van Vleck at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hallettsville, they will head out on the road to face off against Yoakum at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
