The Eastside Blazers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Hamilton 63-33 on the road. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Eastside as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Despite the loss, Hamilton had strong showings from Clayton Spaw, who scored 18 points along with three steals, and Zane Ritter, who scored five points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Spaw has scored all season.
Eastside's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Hamilton, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastside will take on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamilton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Elwood is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
