The Cardinal Mooney Cougars won the last time they faced the Riverview Sarasota Rams, and things went their way  on Thursday too. Cardinal Mooney took down Riverview Sarasota 58-44. The  win made it back-to-back wins for Cardinal Mooney.
  Connor Heald was  his usual excellent self,  scoring 22 points along with two  steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's  played.  George Leibold was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 11 points and ten  rebounds.
 Cardinal Mooney pushed their record up to 10-7 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Riverview Sarasota, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
 Cardinal Mooney's road trip will continue as they head out to face North Port at 1:30  p.m.  on January 13th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Florida (North Port is ranked 177th, while Cardinal Mooney is ranked 202nd). As for Riverview Sarasota, they will take on Imagine School at North Port at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Imagine School at North Port is coming into the  matchup on a six-game losing streak.
