The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 65-64 victory over Pine View. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Sean Felts continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 35 points along with seven rebounds and six blocks. He hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was McKay Lindquist, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Crimson Cliffs' win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Pine View, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crimson Cliffs will take on Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine View, they will head out on the road to face off against Hurricane at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hurricane is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
