Ridge View got themselves on the board against Spring Valley on Friday, but Spring Valley never followed suit. They blew past the Vikings 44-0. That 44 point margin sets a new team best for the Blazers this season.

Spencer Bobian was his usual excellent self, rushing for 119 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Keeffe, who rushed for 70 yards and one score on only nine carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Ridge View was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 233 rushing yards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Ridge View pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.8 points over those games. As for Spring Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Ridge View didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 26-0 victory against Lugoff-Elgin on the 10th. As for Spring Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 31-0 loss against Westwood on the 9th.
