Irfan Khan was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanish Dundi, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Schaumburg Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-9 record this season. As for Islamic Foundation, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Schaumburg Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Christian Life at 4:00 p.m. on January 27th. Christian Life knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully Schaumburg Christian likes a good challenge. As for Islamic Foundation, they will head out on the road to challenge Christian Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
